எங்களைப் பற்றி
Device Check is an independent, browser-first device testing platform. Our goal is simple: give people a fast way to check whether the hardware and browser features they rely on are working, without installing an app or creating an account.
What we build
Each tool is a focused test built on standard web APIs. We avoid simulated readings and clearly label anything the browser cannot measure. When a capability is unavailable, the page explains why instead of displaying a fabricated result.
- Camera, microphone, headphone, speaker and QR scanning tests.
- Screen, refresh-rate, recording, touch, keyboard, mouse, controller and stylus tests.
- Internet throughput, CPU, GPU and battery checks.
- Location, motion, orientation, sensor availability, browser and capability reports.
Privacy by design
Camera frames, microphone audio, sensor samples, keyboard identifiers and location coordinates are processed in your browser whenever the platform supports it. We do not upload media, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell data. Tests that require an external service, such as a speed test endpoint or an optional map, are identified on the relevant page.
Educational, not diagnostic
Browser tests can reveal useful information about your device and browser, but they are not a substitute for professional hardware diagnostics. A web page cannot calibrate a display, certify audio output, inspect a battery's design capacity, or prove that a sensor is physically accurate. We explain these limits beside the measurements.
How the content is maintained
Tool descriptions and troubleshooting guidance are written to reflect current browser behaviour. Web platform support changes regularly, so pages note when an API is experimental, restricted by permissions, or dependent on a secure context. If a test behaves differently in your browser, the contact form is the best way to let us know.
