سياسة الخصوصية
Last updated: 6 November 2026. This policy explains what Device Check processes, what stays in your browser, and what information may reach our server or service providers.
1. Local processing by default
Camera previews, microphone analysis, test recordings, touch and pointer events, keyboard identifiers, gamepad state, sensor readings and browser reports are processed inside your browser tab. Device Check does not upload camera video, microphone audio, recordings, keystrokes, touch traces, raw sensor streams or precise coordinates by default.
2. Camera, microphone and screen access
Media access is requested only after you press a start or check button. The browser displays its own permission prompt and you can deny or revoke access at any time. When you stop a test, leave the page, or the page is hidden, active tracks are stopped. Recordings are held in memory and are only saved if you choose to download them.
3. Location data
Location is requested only after you press the location button. Coordinates are displayed in the page and are not sent to our server or stored by this website. If you choose to open a map link, the selected third-party map provider receives the coordinates and applies its own privacy policy.
4. Server logs and security
Like most websites, the hosting server may record standard request information such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent for security and reliability. These logs are used to operate the site, investigate abuse and diagnose errors. They are not used to build advertising profiles.
5. Optional database features
If the site operator enables anonymous aggregate statistics, we may record a daily count of tool views without storing device identifiers. If you submit the contact or suggestion form, the information you provide (name, email, subject and message) is stored so we can respond. Do not submit sensitive information.
6. Cookies, advertising and local storage
The site uses a session cookie for form security and rate limiting, local storage to remember your light or dark theme preference, and a first-party language cookie to remember your selected language. This site also uses Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP address, browser and device information, page and referral information, and ad interactions to deliver, measure, frequency-cap and protect advertising. Depending on your location, consent choices and publisher settings, ads may be contextual, non-personalized or personalized using information about activity across sites and apps. Non-personalized ads may still use storage for frequency capping and aggregated reporting. Those providers process information under their own privacy policies; see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, the Google Privacy Policy, and the Cookie Policy.
7. Advertising choices and consent
You can review or change Google advertising personalization through My Ad Center or Google Ads Settings, and manage cookies through your browser. In jurisdictions where consent is required, the publisher must configure and publish an appropriate consent message in AdSense Privacy & messaging before consent-dependent advertising technologies are used. Google requires a certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework when serving personalized ads in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Device Check does not collect advertising consent through a separate first-party consent interface.
8. External services
Some optional features require external requests. The Internet Speed Test contacts the endpoint configured by the site operator; no endpoint is bundled by default. Map previews, if opened, load OpenStreetMap. These services receive the request necessary to fulfil the feature and handle data under their own policies. We do not claim that those requests are private to Device Check.
9. Data retention
Feedback submissions are retained only as long as needed to handle the enquiry, resolve a problem, or maintain a record of a suggestion. Server logs are rotated according to hosting practice. Browser-side media and sensor data are discarded when you leave the page or clear the tab.
10. Your choices
You can deny or revoke permissions through your browser, stop any test at any time, avoid optional map links, and choose not to submit the contact form. You may ask us to correct or delete a feedback message by contacting us.
11. Children
Device Check is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the platform changes. Material changes will be reflected by the date above. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
