Technische uitleg
The Web Audio API routes oscillators and a swept sine signal to the left and right output channels. A stereo test cannot compensate for room acoustics, speaker placement, or an operating-system virtual surround effect.
Speaker faults often appear as rattles, dropouts, or imbalance at particular frequencies. The sweep can reveal suspicious sounds, but interpreting them requires care and a reasonable listening level.
Problemen oplossen
Only one speaker plays
Check the cable, amplifier channel, and system balance. Swap the left and right cables to isolate the fault.
Rattle at high volume
Reduce the volume immediately. A loose cabinet, damaged driver, or objects vibrating nearby can cause rattling.
No bass
Check the subwoofer connection and crossover settings. Small speakers may not reproduce low frequencies at all.
Volume is still too loud
Use the in-page volume slider and lower your system volume before restarting playback.
